NINJA

Ninja is a 2009 American martial arts film directed by Isaac Florentine and starring Scott Adkins, Tsuyoshi Ihara and Mika Hijii. The film tells the story of Casey Bowman, an American martial artist who enters a Japanese martial arts dojo. Casey gains Takeda's respect and develops a friendship with Takeda's daughter, Namiko. However, Masazuka, the dojo's top student, feels bitterly about the bond between Namiko and Casey.

  During a sparring session, Masatsuka loses Cassie and nearly kills Casey. In self-defence, Casey injures Masazuka, resulting in him being expelled from the dojo. Years later, Masatsuka becomes an assassin for Temple Industries and The Ring Cult. He returns to the dojo to gain power, but is rejected by Takeda sensei. Sensing the danger, Takeda asks Casey and Namiko to guard the armor chest, an ancient treasure chest containing Koga ninja weapons. When Masazuka attacks the dojo, Casey and Namiko flee to New York with the chest. Masazuka tracks her down, accuses her of murder, and kidnaps Namiko. Casey rescues Detective Traxler from Masazuka's assault and arranges a meeting to exchange Namiko's life and the "Armor Chest". Casey gets her breasts and puts on a ninja suit. At the construction site, Masazuka releases Namiko, but her box is empty. The two engage in a final battle while being ambushed by ring members. Casey, Namiko, and Masazuka join forces to take down the thugs. Masazuka poisons Namiko and provokes Casey with the antidote. Enraged, Casey skewers Masazuka, but she is saddened that she was unable to save Namiko. Remembering her teacher's teachings, Casey discovers her antidote in her own sword and rescues her Namiko. Casey decapitates Masazuka before leaving with Namiko. The next day, Traxler tells Casey and Namiko that Temple Industries and The Ring have been dismantled. He advises them to leave New York City and gives them their passports. Casey and Namiko pay their respects to their late teacher and return to Japan to continue the dojo.

  In summary, Ninja tells the story of Casey Bowman's journey to guard an ancient treasure chest and rescue Namiko from the clutches of Masazuka and an underground cult.
